Introduction : As the Untact era continued in 2020 due to Corona19, a gap occurred in the provision of face-to-face care services for the elderly. It is necessary to change the direction of the Health Care services.
Therefore, we intend to establish the meaning of self-care that strengthens and maintains the surviving ability of the frail elderly, and seeks a support plan
Methods : Self-care is about managing oneself within the community, and national policies and community-level management efforts are important in terms of community healthcare and health promotion. The International Self-care Foundation proposed seven ¡®columns¡¯ for practical implementation. In England, ¡®The Health Foundation has proposed the a practical guide to self-management support.
Therefore, measures to review and support self-care for the vulnerable elderly should be considered in order to reduce dependent care and to utilize self-care as a precautionary measure.
Conclusion : It is necessary to make efforts to ensure that both seniors and service providers who use welfare services in the post-Corona era recognize the importance of self-care and furthermore, utilize it.
